IMPERIAL
Inspired by elements of the Historic Frank
Lloyd Wright 1923 design of the Imperial
Hotel in Japan and in honor of the 100th
anniversary of his design. The gold finish
case shape, triangle raised hour markers
and laser-cut “peacock feather” design
are all Wright architectural elements used
in the building’s design. As an homage
to Wright’s forward thinking, this unique
clock inside walnut finished wooden
frame is backlit automatically in low light
to enhance Wright’s beautiful Peacock
feather design. The LEDs are battery
powered and have adjustable settings that
allow for a low light to 6-hour time or ON
in low light and OFF at full light, a unique
design feature not offered anywhere
else. The accurate quartz movement uses
(1) AA battery, and the LEDs are powered
by (4) D Cell batteries, not included.

ENNIS
The Ennis is inspired by Frank Lloyd
Wright’s “Mayan Revival” textile block
homes in Southern CA. Originally made of
concrete, a “new” construction material
in the 1920’s The Blocks were able to lend
a textural appearance showing varying
depths. This clock is an example of this
type of concept made of case resin and
showing multiple layers taken directly
from the Ennis house’s block designs. To
replicate the case concrete there is a sand
finish to the case, and it is mounted on a
washed gray ash wood base. The accurate
quartz movement uses (1) AA battery, not
included.
